The Burnhams looks like the perfect family living the perfect life, but in reality Lester Burnham is a depressed suburban looser who suffers verbal abuse from his wife and infatuated by his daughter's friend. His wife Carolyn is having an affair with her competition. Their daughter Jane quiet but rebellious and quickly falling for her druggie neighbor Ricky. Ricky lives with his hard ass homophobic father who is always on his case and his quiet mother. Can these two fucked up families produce something beautiful?
